Preview of Easter Sessions{By:JJ & Lindsey Vavra/ Rio Grande VAlley Professional Photographers}

Here is our sweet Colin helping us set up for our Easter Mini Sessions.  Of course he is wearing a hat due to his terrible hair cut, but I really LOVE the hat!

We still have some openings available and will be open for booking on Monday.  Our Full of Joy team member Christine will be returning calls and emails to help get sessions scheduled.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Have a GREAT St. Patrick’s Day!

Rock The Love – KEEPS ROCKIN’!

February 23

Thank you to all who participated in the “Rock the Love” fundraiser.  Praise the Lord that with everyone’s efforts we were able to raise $750 just in donations. With all the package orders, we are able to donate even more for these two precious families.  I hope to get final information to you once all orders have been received.  I thank Journey Preschool and all the families that gave so generously for the blessing that we were all able to share in.

Here is the latest information with both families:

Logan Baugher: This past December the family received bad news. Logan’s leukemia was back. And this time, it was even worse than the first go-around.  When they took him back to St. Jude’s, they found out that it was spreading throughout his body like wildfire, according to family.  They started chemo on Logan once again but it didn’t work this time.  “The leukemia was winning, it was just spreading rapidly. The doctors basically said there was not a lot more they could do for Logan.”  Even though the doctors have no hope and weren’t expecting him to make it to his 12th birthday last week, Logan continues to amaze and baffle all.  His mother is hoping for a treatment where he can receive her “killer cells” soon.  Logan was baptized on his birthday weekend.  He says he has a peace inside of him like he has never had & that his “insides” feel great.

Lorissa Gonzales: This year has brought joy and disappointment for this family.  After nearly a month of clinical trials of chemotherapy and traveling to and from Houston numerous times, her local doctor has determined that the state of her cancer has remained unchanged.  Beginning this week, she will begin yet another month-long round of new chemotherapy, locally.  Pray for Lorissa as she endures the many aspects of pain involved with treatment. Also, pray for her family as they persevere.  On the other hand, Lorissa believes and loves the Lord and knows His love, as well as the love of her many friends.

I hope you enjoy seeing all these amazing kiddos!  Thank you so much for your help and continued prayer.

It was a BLAST!  That is what I can say about my session with Ms. Emma.    I just let her do her thing, so I cannot take much credit….it was all her.   She is such a beauty and is growing way too fast!

Thank you for letting me just have fun with you!

She has the most beautiful eyes!

The P Girls {By:JJ & Lindsey Vavra/ Texas Professional Photographers}

Hello all!

I knew this summer was going to be crazy, but I never imagined this crazy :)  Oh well…it is craziness mixed with blessings!

With all of the craziness, it  has been all I can do shoot, meet with clients and get portraits in super speed time before father’s day, so posting images for all to see has not been an option.

Here is one of the very precious group of kiddos that we had the pleasure to work with during our Father’s Day mini sessions.

These girls are beautiful, sweet and we had such a great time working with them.  They were terrific!

Thank you P family for letting us have some fun with you!!!

Enjoy a few of the picked images :)

I am simply amazed at how well behaved these four sweet girls are.  I have no idea how their mommy does it!?! I only have two and they are 4.5 years apart.  Great job mom!!!!

Now..here are some silly ones that I just had to show.

We are back!

JJ and I just got back from a week of amazing photography education.  We are beyond excited about all that we learned.  JJ learned a ton of wonderful new information about natural light to share with his students at the local college that he teaches at.  I learned a ton of wonderful business information, along with some amazing newborn sesssion tips.

We are so excited for the new changes to come with our business.  As always, we are working hard to become better at what we do for you, our wonderful clients.  I can’t wait to share more… so stay tuned!!

A couple of important things:

1. We are booked for the month of May.  If you wish to be on our waiting list, please give us a call or send us an email.  June is booking up rather quickly, so call us soon to reserve your session date.

2.Coming up in June will be Father’s Day limited edition sessions and our first ever  “Mommy and Me” photography class. Yes, we are finally going to offer classes for mommies or daddies who want to learn to capture better images of their kids, just being kids.  More information to come very soon! Dates and locations to be announced.

Also, while we were away at school we got to meet the newest member of our family, our new nephew, Noah Stone.

Here is a little peek from his session:

The G Boys{By:Lindsey & JJ Vavra/ Texas Professional Photographers}

I have gotten so behind on my posting images to the site for everyone to see.  Such a wonderful crazy time of the year with seniors and spring!!!

ANYHOW- Here are two of my favorite boys.  Kai is not sure of  about me, but Nolan loves me and I love him.  They both are growing up so fast and are too cute!

Thank you for letting us capture a few precious shots of them!

Enjoy!

Look at Nolan’s beautiful eyes and  lashes…heart breaker.  Kai has the same eyes….and don’t you just love how little ones can fold up so small…so very cute.?!

I cannot believe that I’m posting this image, but I am…without editing.  This was session number four of the day after two soccer games….so I look REALLY rough.  I’m so thankful for my wonderful husband who took this shot of me and my buddy Nolan. JJ does not always get to come to sessions, but it is awesome when he does! That way  I can run and be goofy with the kids to get the posed while he shoots.   And man do I run and get a work out…..I had dirt in places that I have NO idea how it got there after that day full of kiddo sessions.  :)

Love you Garcia Family!!!!!
